She was born as Candice Susan Swanepoel on the 20th of October 1988 in Mooi River in South Africa. She was the first South African national to become a Victoria Secret Angel. She was only fifteen years old when she was discovered in the Durban Flea Market. She has graced magazine covers for different countries. In 2012, she was ranked on the tenth position among the highest earning models in the industry. She is an Afrikaner with a Dutch heritage. She speaks English, Afrikaans and Portuguese. She learnt to speak Portuguese from her boyfriend whom she has been dating since she was seventeen. Candice is a successful model who has not only appeared in different magazine covers but she has also earned a lot of money from her modeling career.
