She is of mixed ancestryy with her father being of Mexican ancestry and her mother of Italian ancestry. She has two half sisters from her mother’s side but only one is alive: Grace Elliot Teefey and the late Scarlett Teefey . She had a difficult childhood especially after her parents divorced and she was raised by her working mother who was having a hard time providing for them.
