She was born as Julianne Alexandra Hough on the 20th of July 1988 in Orem Utah. She is a singer, dancer, songwriter and actress. She has stated on more than one occasion that she is more interested in developing her singing career above anything else. Her acting career was brought to the limelight when she took up the leading role in Footloose. She has won the Dancing with the Stars competition twice. She went back to the show not as a contestant but as a judge. She is now a permanent judge of the show. She is the daughter to Bruce and Marianne Hough. She is youngest member of her family; she has one elder brother and three elder sisters. Her brother Derek is also a professional. Her sisters are: Marabeth , Katherine and Sharee. She comes from a family of dancers as both her paternal and maternal grandparents were professional dancers. She is also cousins with the R5 members: Rocky, Riker, Rocky, Ross Lynch. She is so good a dancer that she was already a professional when she was only 9 years old.
