She was born as Jennifer Aniston on the 11th of February 1969 in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles California. She is the daughter to Nancy Dow and John Aniston; both of her parents were actors. Her father is of Greek ancestry while her mother is of an Irish and Scottish ancestry with some little of Greek. Her father is a native crete while her mother was born in New York. She has two half brothers from both her paternal and maternal side. John Melick, who is older than her is from her maternal side and Alex Aniston, younger than her is from her father’s side. She was brought to the limelight after she played the role of Rachel Green in the television sitcom series, Friends. This role won her several awards including the Golden Globe, Emmy Award and Screen Actors Guild Award.
